Voiced Blog
I decided my last blog didn’t capture enough, so I did a performance of it… of sorts.
The World and I are Lovahs
There are days you wake up and you’re like, “Well, hey, world! How are ya? You’re looking good today.” Then you give the world a hug and a kiss on the cheek and say, “I’m glad you’re here,” and the two of you walk arm in arm down the sidewalk, enjoying the crisp, cool air of a February morning. Then you have to go, but you ask, “You’ll still be here when I get off work, right?”
And the world says, “Of course! I’ll be waiting on you. And if you wanna step outside during a break, I’ll be there then, too.”
And you say, “That’s cool, world. I appreciate it.”
Today was one of those days…and that was before I even took my meds 🙂
some new tablet pics
I got my graphics tablet primarily for my artwork (though it HAS replaced my track pad for web surfing as well!) and I’ve done a few pieces. I haven’t drawn much of my own stuff yet, but I’ve used it to fly through the usual work I do. I think I’ve seriously cut my time in half on projects.
Here are a few pieces I’ve done:
And here is a piece Dani drew. This was the first time she’d ever had a tablet in her hands.
She says it’s me, so I drew a picture of her.
She may have me beat in precision, but not in style points. I mean, come on! who can compete with a duck for a foot?! No one, that’s who. And I’m sorry, is that a hamburger for the other foot? BAM! Total smackdown!
Original pictures from Emily, Dani and Molly. Thanks, ladies!
